Problems with synchronizing phone to Outlook

4 replies · 3,819 views · Started 11 November 2004

Hi,

I am not able to synchronize my N7610 with MSO2003-Outlook. Via Bluetooth the failure is 'SyncML-Profile doesn't match', if I try via Datacable the failure is 'not able to open Outlook' (I tried with opened and closed application-with the same result). Anyone here with similar problems? Any hinds how to solve?

I had a problem syncing my 7610 to Outlook 2003. The problem was fixed when i downloaded the patch SP1 from the Microsoft web site. The error i was gettin was :not able to open outlook.

I downloaded the Nokia PC Suite from nokia website and then installed Windows XP Service Pack 1 and have no problems with syncing the phone, but I have noticed that the PC itself now runs a lot slower than it used to . Anyone any ideas?

It is Nokia PC Suite. Bloated and resource hungry. Why do they need to load all those services and system stuff? Can they not keep it plain and simple like Palm and Hotsync? But no choice... I also think the 6.0 I was using (with my 6610) was not so bad, but 7610 not supported. 6.4 seems the worse. Unfortunately I do not know where I can download 6.3, this version seems the best. I am going to try using the 6.1 that came with the CD.
