Hi everyone
I just bought a 6260 and was trying to find a way to move my contacts from my 6600 to the new phone. However, whenever I try to perform copy data from 6600 to my laptop via PC Suite 6.2, it doesnt see the 6600. I think PC Suite does not support the 6600 phone. Are there other ways to move my contact list to the new phone aside from copying it one by one? I have about 600 contacts. They are both symbian so it should be easy right? 😛
Thanks and any help would be appreciated!

I think there is a program called contacts transfer(freeware). . . You can send the contacts via bluetooth, or irda or mmc. Ill try finding it tho. . .

But, since the program uses IrDA, im not sure if 6260 has IrDA, so you can use SmartVCard from Symbianware. (www.symbianware.com)
Look at this thread for more details - tho instead of 6260, the destination phone is 7610 - http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum//forum/thread/24494/

rohitkhannak you're a genius and so is the guy (Juha?) who wrote the application. We were just about to throw the 6600 at the wall after trying to transfer all my girlfriend's contacts from her 6600 to her new 7610. We tried the Nokia PC Suite and it wasn't happening. Then we tried the link you suggested and it's worked a treat. Thanks a lot man. Respect!
