Hi I am trying to establish if the TOMTOM MOBILE Smartphone navigation system works on the Nokia 6260.

TomTom say is is not compatible but I have received an email via EBay from someone who says they use it with the Nokia 7610 which has the same RS MMC card as the Nokia 6260.

Does any one have the answer or a view?

It works perfectly on a 6260 (faster than on my 6600)
You can even listen to the voice instructions with the lid closed (saves a lot of battery power as it powers down the LCD)

How did you get it on to a RSMMC card? As the package comes on a FSMMC card?

My package came on a RS-MMC (as stated on the website of mobile 66)

" Contents of this packing

- 256 MB MultiMediaCard (MMC / RS-MMC)
- Navigation software preinstalled on MultiMediaCard
- Geographic map (10x): Scandinavia, Britain, Benelux, Germany, France, Alp countries, Iberian Peninsula, Italy, Athens, Major Roads of Europe (CD-ROM)
- USB MMC card reader & writer
- Bluetooth GPS receiver (NMEA 0183 v2.2)
- In-car charger cable for GPS receiver
- ROUTE 66 lanyard
- Universal car mount for smartphone
- User Manual (CD-ROM)
- Smartphone NOT included in this packing"

(see http://www.66.com/route66/index.php )

Robin is not talking about tomtom, but a completely different product called route 66, tomtom does not work on the 6260.

How do you get the files onto the MMC as you prolly know its a reduced size card?

Did you ever find out which GPS bluetooth receiver works with TomTom mobile? I've read somewhere that you have to use a TomTom receiver, is that right? If so where can I get one?
