Improving Speed of Old Hack 9210i

All,

Just went to feel and touch 9500 and decided may be 9300 will be better suited for me.

In the meantime, I still hope that if some experts out there could offer any advice on:

(a) Is it possible to improve the speed of 9210i on the hardware front? Can the system clock be tweaked to 10% or 20% without causing the OS to lock up or crash?

(b) Is there anyway to improve the speed of search for contacts by allocating bigger cache? With 2300 contacts, my search for single contact usually takes about 5~8 seconds. Likewise when I send an SMS, the search for the phone number will take equally long. I have formatted the device many times, compact the contact database using stacker.... etc. NOT MUCH IMPROVEMENT!

I personally think the 1st option is technically remote, however, the 2nd is highly possible. Any advice?
