Application doesn't open!

Hi

I just got my N7610 and started downloading software. A friend of mine sent me plenty of software he bought, but there are many, unfortunatly the majority of them, that when, after I perfectly install them, they simply close without any message after I click to open them in the menu. For example CameraFX from WildPalm, I install it in the memory and then when I click to open it simply returns to the menu window.
In my friend's mobile (6600) they work perfectly...
What's wrong 😞
Aren't all Symbian's Series 60 Software supposed to work in my mobile? At least at www.my-symbian.com my mobile it's part of the list of Series60 Software.

What can it be? Need a early version? Something's wrong with my N7610?
Honestly from this friend of mine I wouldn't suspect anything, but can it be because it is cracked? I really don't know if it is... but if it is, can it be because of that?

Give me something please!

Thanks!

Btw, excelent forum you got here... Never seen anything like this, congrats! :icon14:

Most well-written applications that use published APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) should work just fine. Mostly the issue is with either buggy programs or applications that use undocumented APIs that have changed.

In the latter cases an updated version from the developer fixes it (usually it is best to use the latest, legal versions).
