My 9500 crashs when I run the OPL Editor and every OPL program !!! :icon13:
OPL does not run on 9500 !!!!
The old 9200 EON14.GDR font has been renamed/moved in the firmware, and we're repatching OPL to sort this out for 9500 and 9300 users as soon as possible. Once we get to grips with the new build of the 9500 SDK variables, we'll have that runtime.
What do you think how long it takes for the runtime for 9500 ?
As soon as we can get it ready- we know the bug, a matter of fixing and testing ourselves now, and sorting out hte SDK.
Hi Ewan - any idea how they're progressing on this?
I'd imagine now the 9500's available there'll be a rapid upsurge in interest in Series 80 programming. If OPL's not working, documented and available a lot of potential users will be turning to C++ and Java instead.
Regards,
David
ps - just seen your reply on another website that it should be appearing imminently. Very glad to hear it - I remember OPL well from the old Psion 5 and it was always straight forward to use. Looking forward to becoming reacquainted...
David,
Rick is ahrd at work, and we know people will turn. BUt then, I think they'll come back. I have a plan for that as well
Hi Evan
Please advise where to find the font for SwissA font ,an option selection in Nokia 9300 spreadsheet.
Developing OPL on the S80 plateform and noted that the SwissA font was able to read Chinese characters. Like swiss knife, they can do just about anything - I think.
But I am at lost on where to find this const. Usually they are written
kfontswissArial???&
Thanks
