How do I set my ringtone to something I've downloaded?

Can anyone please tell me how to set my ringtone to something I've downloaded? I've just got the phone, and can't seem to figure it out.

I have the same problem, would appreciate any comments ...
Is it done by copying to a special directory or something else ... ?

mp3 ringtones are not supported but wav files are. I use audacity to convert mp3 2 wav. When converting them, use IMA ADPCM codec at 22,050 kHz, 4 bit, mono. Then copy the file into the sound directory of your mmc card. I had to create the folder 1st

Dear,

You can use MIDI,WAV & AMR Files for Ringtone.To do this copy ringtone files to:

e:\sounds\Digital (in your MMC Card-if this folder doesn't exist,you can create it &

copy files)

You can use QuodRings to set an OGG file as a ringtone.
QuodRings Currently Support OGG Files only.
