Battery Life Indicator

The battery life indicator on my 6600 is not refreshing itself. It always shos a full bar status even if the battery is about to run out. It only refreshes itself if you switch off & on the phone. Any idea why ? Is the the battery or the phone ? :dontknow: :frown:

Hard to say, but I'd try and borrow another battery and see if that performs any differently, if not, it's more than likely the phone. Formatting, if you don't have too much stuff to lose at the moment, will probably clear it up if it's a software thing, it sounds like the phone isn't 'polling' the battery like it's meant too.

If a format doesn't work it must be something hardware related, whatever the case, I'd take it back to where you got it and see if they can at least supply you with a replacement battery so you can try this out...

Good luck,

M.

I switched to the default theme and it seems to be working fine. Thanks.
Sorry bout the font. First time posting here, didn't know a size 6 would be that huge. Thanks again.. 😊
