any one use one? needs to be less than $10, simple and easy to use. dont want to install appforge either.

needs to total stuff up, and able able to handle a few separate lists. ideally be able to pick items from user defined list (like petrol,shop...etc)

I use HandyExpense from Epocware. Does all of what you ask for, plus Multi-currency and comes with a desktop component that allows you to dump everything into Excel. It's quite basic, but covers all the bases. No idea how much it is though!

thanks Bassey, i'll check it out.

btw: completely unrelated, but do you know a quick way of turning the backlight on and off. other than going into control panel,tab,tab.... ta

Not sure if it's that much faster, but you can click on the battery icon, then click on Settings. There it is (in the third tab).

Bassey: spot on with that suggestion. hand expense is indeed what i need 😊 $15 😞 ta

anyone using the latest version of handy exp? does it have any nice additions, like colour, icons etc?
