Question regarding mp3 on Nokia 7610

Hi, I have searched the forums, but havn't found an aswer to my question:
Is it possible to use the Nokia 7610 as an mp3 player, with the sound coming out of headphones only, not the phones speaker? I am not bothered whether the sound is stereo, or mono, or whether it comes out of one or two headphones.
Thank you, Mat

if ur not bothered about the sound coming out of two headphones then yes i think u can use a single earpiece headset to listen to mp3's and no the answer is in the forums, u havent searched well enough. search again

I did search, and didn't find the answer to my question, hence why I had to regester and post. It would have been much easier not to, I didn't out of choice.
With the headphones plugged in, does the sound still come out of the phones internal loudspeaker? Or just out of the headphones?
Thank you again

The answer to your question matheprat is yes, just use the single earphone that's in the box with the phone.

Zainman, grow up and just type the answer, or ignore the post.

what single earphone thats in the box with the phone? what do u mean? there isn't any! or did i not get one? that is what i did Murf, type the answer.. yeah u should have ignored my post as i wasnt answering ur question

Hi chaps.
I never got any headphones with my phone either, think it depends on what package you buy.
I use a Jabra BT200 headset to listen to MP3's on my Bike - works really well and sounds fine - just remember to re-encode your mp3's to mono.
The sound comes out of the headset only not the phone and when a call or message comes in the music stops then continues when the call ends.

Best
