Anyone got MSN working thro' AgileMobile.

It works fine using the USB cable, but refuses to connect over GPRS.

Thanks
Hippo

It must be Vodafone UK blocking it - Yahoo works fine, only MSN is not working. Everything works over USB.

What do you mean by 50C & 50F - if you are referring to firmware, I'm getting confused as I have just received my Sendo X and the firmware is 1.63.1.2 dated 4/9/2004.

I suppose it might be a Vodafone special !!

Hi hippotech. I've had a thread on this exact problem here and haven't really found out why it doesn't work.
I'm on Vodafone too and you're now the second person saying that Yahoo works but MSN doesn't. Some others on here have the MSN working, maybe a poll to see who has which Service Provider might be an idea to see if it is Vodafone after all!...!

Yep, 50C and 50F refer to firmware builds...50C is 1.56.2.2 and 50F is 1.72.5.2 (Expansys UK release) 1.63.1.2 must be either the 50D or 50E build. (Plinky could confirm this)

It may be a Voda thing that's blocking it, but I can't honestly see why, if one connection stream works, then you'd expect the others to as well.

Thanks for the reply.

My suspicion is that Vodafone are blocking the ports for Messenger as they have launched their own messenger system with a PC & a mobile client.

Doesn't look up to much and will only work if you can convice everyone to use it.

AgileMobile works fine across the USB cable - no surprise as it will be using my broadband connection. There is a port list on AgileMobile's website, but how far do you think anyone will get trying to explain this to Vodafone's helpdesk 🙄
