WICKED N7650 WALLPAPERS!!!!
I'm 2 days or so away from completing the WWW side of it. The WAP side is proving to be a bit of a bite on the ass (I'm not too familiar with WML as yet). Just a few questions for those who can answer these:a) What's the best WML editor out there?
b) Do I need any special program to display the images? eg. I can't seem to get WBMP to display colour. Only monotone.
c) Could anyone please forward me an example of WML source code and the relevant tags? Or how to view source code on WAP sites??

b) WBMP is only specified to support monotone, I read somewhere that the specification is changing to support colour but until that happens, all the WBMP converters/plug-ins can only work in monotone.
c) If you click a link for any wap page (www.real.com/7650) for instance you get the option to open or save, save the .wml and open it in notepad.

you can just add color images into WML 1.3 by using GIFs and JPEGs, so simply:
<img src="mypic.gif"/>
If you want a fellow webmaster I'd be willing to join ya, I may be good at the WML but I won't be able to compete with your 1000 ringtones etc. so if you can't beat em, join em!
If your interested in joining forces let me know, I could handle the WAP side of the site for you.
check out the new www.sdjb.net/wap for my site style, this could easily be used for your site.

So that's it? That's all there is to it? Just <img src="mypic.gif"/> and nothing more? And how about the ringtones? What's the source code for it?
Sure we can make this a joint venture. The more the merrier!! You can also help maintain and moderate the forum. I'll be looking for all the help I can get LOL
Concerning my content; is there a limit on the space of content you can have on any WAP site? The ringtones average at 18k and the pictures 20k. Then you have the applications and games. I'm thinking the WAP site will be well over 50Mb.
The WWW side of it will probably be ASP and changed to PHP at a later date. Leave your email address here and I'll get in touch with you 😉

there is a size limit on the max file that can be downloaded, I think it is around 100 to 200kb.
But there is no limit to the size of the site on the server, you are just limited to sending it to the user in 100 to 200 kb chunks.
as for sounds, I have not tried this practically but I believe the following would work:
