A925 as modem in Linux?

Hi.

I was wondering if its possible to use the A925 as a modem in Linux using Bluetooth.
The guide in this forum about how to connect it to the computer works fine but I don't know where to go from there.

Supposedly I doesn't work. I've asked Motorola and Three about it, and they say that it isn't supported (under Windows).

You could try the following, though:
Connect it to Linux over PPP. Don't disable the UMTS/GPRS network. Then, set your computer to use the phone as default gateway, like:

route add default gw 169.254.1.1

I haven't tried this, but it might just work.

EDIT: Ok, I just tried the above. It didn't work. If you figure out how to do it, please let us know 😉 I mean, what's the point in having BT if you have to carry a USB cable around everywhere.
