Real player and oplayerfiles for 7650?

7 replies · 2,155 views · Started 12 October 2002

with oplayer and a realyplayer for 7650 i was wondering if anyone has links to movies that have been squashed/optimised for mobile devices and can be played by these programs. I dont have data gprs enabled as it costs too much but are there any videos i can download with my pc from the net and then transfer to my phone?

Or are the files too big making streaming the only way?

Thanks 😊

I don't think there are films adapted for RealOne.
Also I think how much you spent to see them...
Hi
Luca

You can use Real Producer to make movies for Real one and resize them to fit the screen! The size is about 400-500k for 1 minute of video!

U just send them to your phone adn real One plays them! I dont know if you can download some from the net but i know you can take any video asf or avi and encode it and resize it yoursleft!

It would be great if you could stream a movie (converted to realplayer format or whatever) from a computer to the phone via bluetooth.

Cool!

Im trying to develop a series 60 telnet client myself, but i really dont have enough time to get into the sdk :-?

Question...

Do you need to set any proxy in realone player? Coz the webview ( web broswer) do not have proxy setting as my ISP required.

On Oplayer a 6-minute news clip @ decent quality takes about 1400kB space.

Watching movies on Nokia 7650 is not very useful scenario. You could, however, watch the news, sports news, movie trailer or music video.
