AgileMessenger 2.xx for the Motorola A925 works fine but MSN won't work.
There is a 3.xx available but not specifically for the Motorola A1000 - is there one just not labelled correctly or am I stuck with 2.xx?

A1000 and Agile Messenger 3 - which version?
I always assumed that agile wouldn't work cause of three's walled garden approach? am i wrong? Or am i wrong or are you not British GazmanJ? (Or have you had yuor phone unlocked?)

Its 3's internet access... they let you see on the net only what they want you to see... using the metaphor: you are free to wander around, but only in their garden. To access the messenger server, it would have to be 'allowed' by three, and as they would rather you send text messages, they dont let you use messenger.
However you say you had it working on your A925, which has thrown me off, i just thought it couldn't be done, but if you say you've done it before I'm a little lost. (I skipped the A925, went straight from A920 to the A1000)

only got the software working - but not with messenger - it was version 3 of the software I couldn't get working on th a1000 (used A925 v2 on a1000 to get app working)
