Problems with picture messaging ...

OK I got my voda sendo X which is great, but for some reason the picture messaging doesnt work. Before you say it, yes I have got the settings via text from Voda which I have saved in the right place. Has anyone managed to successfully send/recieve a picture message from their X? When I have sent messages the recipient (who has a picture phone) enabled to recieve picture messages gets a text message to say visit the voda website and enter the code to retrieve the picture. This doesnt happen when other people send them pictures from different phones?????

My X will not recieve picture messages at all.

Some picture messages that I have tried to send just give up and come up with failed.

Please HELP.

Another little moan...

The camcorder is a great little device, BUT... I was at my grandmothers 90th birthday party yesterday and took a short clip of her cutting the cake. A few moments later went to view it and hit the c button twice which deleted it. A memory lost for the sake of poor key layout and the phone's slow ability to respond to commands. Does my memory serve me correctly or is this phone meant to have a graphics accelerator in it? Come on Sendo... you just havent quite cracked it. I'm loathed to reccommend it to my sister now who is currently looking to buy a new phone... she's very interested in mine, but after I rant about the pro's I have to tell her about the negative aspects of the phone of which I can list a few. They soon put her off and she's now considering the Motorola V3 which might look nice and have great battery life, but does next to nothing compared to the X!!! If only I could sell this thing with confidence.

Perhaps Sendo can send me another phone for my sister to trial.

I'm also happy to become a chief tester for Sendo!! 😊

i sent a couple of pictures yesterday from my Voda X whilst in Norway to my girlfriend, who's on Orange. It worked fine. One thing i did change though was to change the MMS settings (menu, messag., multimedia message, preferred connection) and set it to Contract MMS. It wsn't on that originally. I've received a picture form my girlfriend so i know that receiving works ok. Normally, when someone gets the 'go visit the website' email, it's because their provider doesn't know that they are using a picture messaging phone - get them to ring their provider and enable their contract for picture messaging. HTH.
