Has anybody encountered "App. closed Auto Starter" error during phone start-up? Please help! I don't know what did I do to cause such an error... the last thing I did was browse the Z: drive using SelectQ.. and then the phone freezed. I turned off the phone and start it again, the problem occured. :con?

You most likely have installed a new app that uses a so called "recognizer" (a Symbian operating system thingy 😉 ) to do something at phone startup-time.

I doubt that browsing the Z: drive (ROM) caused it.

So, go through the last installed apps (Manager app, Options, View log) and unistall/remove them one by one until the problem disappears (if you restart the phone between each unistall, you should be able to say which app caused the problem).

If that doesn't help, a full reformat should.

Ahhh! I remember installing Mobiluck that same day. Could that be the cause? one thing though, i didn't notice any malfunctions after the error occured... i'm thinking if the error is negligible.. should i just leave it as is?

thanks for your reply.
