Where can I download emulator ?

Hello friends, I want to download some kind of emulator so that I can 'install' and see the functions, stability of various applications before I actually install it on my 6600.
I have a Handspring Treo, on which I do the same with an emulator which i downloaded from the Palm site. The end result is that my Treo is yet to crash on me (palm os is generally prone to crashing frequently) as I install only those applications that run without problems on the emulator.

Is such a software available for 6600 that I can install on the PC ?

Please help. 😊

There is no emulator that can run native (C++) Symbian programs compiled for the phone (and usually distributed as .sis files).

The native (C++) SDK has an emulator that can run programs compiled for the emulator (not the device) = programs you have the source code for.

The Java/MIDP SDK (http://forum.nokia.com/) can run midlets (usually distributed as .jar files).

Thank you N/A ... That is bad since such a program would have been of great use to all series 60 users. Looks like Symbian should follow Palm os in this aspect 🙄
