I will be trying this probally by the end of the week and will post results
http://www.shapeservices.de/eng/im/index.php
the one thats listed compatiable with the n9500 is the one version for JAVA phones
It would be sweet to just replace my verichat (palm) with this program and not pay 20 bucks a year for service, even thou it is worth that for me for all messaging in one program
UPDATE
I found the program was a bit glitchy, and after emailing them I have this response today.

Just wanted to let you all know that the program IM+ is up and working fine. If can be d/l from
I've downloaded it and will try later today. But US$40???
That seems very expensive!

Agreed. They are obviously taking advantage of the fact that there are no other decent IM applications available for the 9500 at this moment. I think it's a complete rip-off to charge $40 for IM services that are all free to begin with. Intelligent consumers will wait a little while for the free and, IMO, much superior Agile Messenger to become available.
Hi,
I have one problem with this Nokia 9500.
I installed ICQ for Nokia Communicator from www.icq.com.
It works fine with my WI-FI but.. when I try to connect through GPRS it says that phone is probably offline and ICQ cannot login.
Strange , I checked all my access points and every setup information, and it should work fine (I can easily access any WAP sites), but it doesn't 😛cguru:
Is it because this ICQ is for N Communicators ???
PLEASE HEEELLLPPP
Is there even a ICQ app from icq.com for the communicator?? It might be me, but I could only find a Palm OS and Win CE version...

There is one. Take a look here: http://www.icq.com/download/ftp-nokia.html
So, any ideas what should I do to make this ICQ work on N9500?
I see, it's a beta, that's why it's not on the homepage. Sorry can't help you with your problem (I don't have an ICQ account  )
Hi all i just came across this forum and noticed that some of you need a Messenger for your 9500.
Well...i am a beta tester for an upcoming application for the 9500.
Anyone interested please email me at [e-mail removed] and i will forward a copy of the application for private use for free.
Anyway when it is out....it's also free.
