I have encountered 2 problems with 9500 so far. First is the wifi connection on this phone. In all my testing wifi connection is not reliable even in my house wifi network using Linksys router/AP. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't work, it seems that the phone cannot seems to acquire any IP address from the router. This I checked by looking at the router's admin web page. Nevertheless, about half of the other times it works, in that it manages to connect, get and IP address and browse the internet. I'm at a loss on this as beingsuccessfully connected or otherwise seems rather random.
Nevertheless, this seems only to occur when using DHCP dynamic IP assignment. If I set a static IP for the phone, I manage to connect reliably every time. Go figure.
Secondly, can somebody confirm this, I've run my PC's Bluetooth software as well from my iPAQ to discover services offered by the phone. It seems that the phone doesn't seem to offer "Bluetooth Serial Port" profile. If I wasn't mistaken if one is to use a bluetooth GPS device with the 9500, BT serial profile is a must. Can somebody confirm these fact, since I do not have a BT GPS device to test ATM.
If such is true, it would be a shame, for such an expensive device to be lacking such an important BT profile.

I have had a problem with the Linksys router that I had with a HP6315 phone and it did the same thing that you are describing. What I did to solve the problem was to upgrade the bios in the router as it was about a year old, and then I didnt have any more problems with the DHCP. The problem I had was I could hook up then when I shut off the phone for some reason the DHCP didnt "log" off the connection so when I tried to reconnect I could not. I am not an engineer so I know the terms are not correct but upgrading to the new bios I have had zero problems.
Will see as I get the 9500 tomorrow and will let you know if I have the same problems.
I am using a Linksys BEFW11S4 (an older 802.11b model)
Regards,
Dustin
I'm also experiencing WiFi problems. I've got a Belkin AP. The problem I have is that it connects to the AP, but doesn't seem to get further than that. It reports "Could not find specified Internet server", and sometimes "No route to host".
I've got DHCP enabled on the GW/Router AND on the AP, but the communicator uses static IP.
I'll try updating the firmware in the AP and see if that maybe would help things.
