message resending

i have this problem when i send a message. first sending goes off fine. message sent tone beeps, message gets logged.

but the message stays in the outbox and keeps getting resent. and these subsequent messages dont get logged. this bugs people alot, especially a friend i messaged before i slept-as he got over 400 messages before i woke up and turned it off.

anyone have this problem?any fixes?

restarting helps but after a dozen or so messages, we go back to the neverending sending cycle.

what I find strange is that the messages won't even be logged.

I've known that happen before but as a problem at the network, never with the phone. BT Cellnet had a lot of trouble with it in the UK a few years back. Try erasing the ini files on your phone (you'll have to sort out some settings again) but that may be causeing the problem.
