I recently installed a program called autolock and didn't like it after all.
So I uninstalled it, but my 7610 still automatically keep locking my keypad anyways. I search my phone and found out that the program Autolock is still on my phone, but in the ROM memory... So i can't remove it...
So I wondered: HOW THE F*CK DID THAT HAPPEN?????
Anybody having the same problem??? Is there a solution to this??
Greetz..
cupcake =D
The "Autolock" process I suspect you're seeing is a system process and it has been there all along, and not due to something you've installed.
Which autolock program, exactly, did you install (name of .sis file, and where you got it from)?
When the phone automatically locks, do you need to use the lock code to unlock it? If so, open the "Settings" app, select "Security" and then "Phone and SIM". There check that "Autolock period" is set to "None".
I also have installed autolock, but like it. But would be interested in seeing why this problem occurs and how to fix it in case I decide to uninstall it.
N/A - this application only locks the keypad after a set time, same function as Menu,* , nothing to do with Security lock, though what is in ROM may be this feature. Autolock appl. I found it through this site - link through freeware apps. page.
