I just have been told that if your phone has malfunction and you take it to a nokia service point and they cant fix it you wont get a new one if you are not a club nokia member.
Can anyone confirm or deny this?
My phone is still under waranty by the way.

Since joining Club Nokia is free, it's not that much of a problem (if indeed that is the case), though I do see your point.

Also I can't add my 9210 to club nokia as it's second hand and the previous owner had done it. After numerous calls I found out that you aren't allowed to buy handset second hand it seems.

Mine is first hand,bought it brand new from Nokia shop,Germany,seems i'm going to have to trow it away,and why,because i'm not a club nokia member,i find that ridicules.

I have buyed a prepayed sim card on my last visit in Germany.

This is how I have joined club nokia.

Also ask somene hwo had not joined ClubNokia to give you the IMEI Number.

My IMEI is not used,its a new phone.

I was trying the join UK's and US's club nokia but i get a 404,maybe there is a script determines your location by your IP/Hostname thus not giving you access to the page.
MaleBuffy,if its not too much trouble,try goining in my name in UK's club nokia,if it works,i'll give you the needed info,like IMEI and such.

I guess you have to fake your mobile number (unless you have a German mobile number), as this is one of the requirements for joining Club Nokia (stupid, but hey it's Nokia). So, you cannot just join the Club if you are not living in the country...

PM me your IMEI! I can register u in the UK club nokia! However, I dont really understand why you have to have a club nokia account for a replacement since you have the warranty! Anyways NOTE that once you create an account in club nokia you cannot use your IMEI to create another one later!
