Hi everyone, this is my first post in this forum. My query is that I just had my QD deposited in the Nokia service centre due to some firmware anomaly. I'm almost positively sure that it will come back to me flashed.
I wan to know whether all the applications I installed _IN_the_MMC_ (which i took out before depositing the phone) will run on the phone returned flashed. Will I have to re-install all the software again? That would truly suck, wouldn't it?
Using loaded MMC in flashed QD
if you send it to a nokia service center, no matter what the problem, chances are they are gonna re-flash it just for the hell of it - unless you specifically tell them not too - and even them they'll probably do it anyways. So yah, you probably lost everything you installed on your phone....

But what about the stuff I installed in my MMC. I still have that with me. Won't that run in the phone now? I mean I haven't formatted the MMC or anything of the sort.
Apps installed on the MMC should work without problems. Most decent service centers do a backup and restore on your device so even apps/games on phone memory might remians intacked.
