Anyone know whether or not web pages should be cached to the phone's memory in some way? I've just got the web access working (yipee etc), downloaded a page and disconnected. Reopening the URL brought up the page again without reconnecting; just as I would expect.
The phone locked up at this point( 😡 ) so I rebooted. Now the page is unavailable without redownloading.
Any ideas on how to "save" a downloaded page?

You're lucky you got yours to connect at all... my web access just doesnt work despite Vodafone sending me the GPRS access settings now 14 times! (incidently I cant remove any of the settings listed - another glitch which Sendo have admitted to in the phone). Sendo just dont want to know when i call their service centre. When I connect to the Web it just comes up with a blank screen or says 'connecting 0kb' after about a minute of frustration a get a system error message or 'cannot connect to remote server'. Perhaps this is to do with the shitty reception that the X has.
The WAP seems to work fine, but trying to set up the email with a Vodafone email address still hasnt worked after a month of trying - again Voda and Sendo just dont seem to care both blaming each other. Vodafone havent responded to my email which was sent over a week ago now.
I loved this phone when I got it, but now I think its useless and I'd agree with other people on this forum that smartphones just havent got there yet. The only feature I use and like is the MP3 player which I can store 5 albums on my SD card. As long as I'm prepared to wait for it to look for the songs.
The phone is so slow. When pressing the menu key it takes a full 7 seconds to respond.
Finally battery life is terrible.
