I have just installed Tombraider on my Nokia 7610, the installation seemed to go fine, but the icon hasn't shown up anywhere, if I go into app manager it doesn't show up, but it does show up as being in hte log and my memory has decreased, so it has put files on there. How can I get rid of it?
Can't find installed game
I once installed a game and had a similar problem, but finally found the icon under the games folder - silly me, I just presumed it will show up in the main menu like the other progs. But it did show up in App. Manager, so something is definitely wrong somewhere. You can use a freeware app like FE Explorer to look at all the folder/files on the phone/mmc and then delete the tombraider ones, but obviously be very very careful that you know what you are deleting.
I suggest you try a re-install of tombraider first and see. If it does not work, try contacting their support/forums and then only using FE Explorer.
Another last resort way is if you backed up your phone before installing it (this is always a good practice) you can format it and do a restore. I have never had to do this but browse around this forum for more help.
