any suggestions? HELP!
infrared internet connection
Its interesting that you say that XP cannot find a driver.
The driver its looking for ins the STANDARD Modem VIA IR. Its inbuilt into all windows editions.
Ensure that Mrouter is not stealling the IR port, ensure that you are not activating IR transfer, and that you are activating the FAX modem IR. Once its installed, to use it as a GPRs modem you will need to add the following at command into the extra initialisation string in the modem properties........
AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","the gprs apn you are trying to connect to"
for example, voda UK is AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","internet"
Hope that helps,
hmm i have the ir transfer thingy on, maybe thats why it aint workin. but funny cuz with my old siemens sl45i i didnt have to turn the file transfer thingy off. will try that out and hope it works.mrouter is definetly not stealin the ir port cuz i always use bt for mrouter. not usin the fax modem ir either.
thanx for the tip, hope it works
ps> gprs= HAHAHAHHA, buddy i am in iran:P they just activated sms 2 yrs ago , ur talkin about gprWHO😉. DAMN MOLLAHS
hmmm didnt work ! i guess xp wants a driver for the sendo x modem, cuz in hardware thingy list , it lists the sendo x with a big ass yellow question mark.
