Lotus Notes/Domino Mail Server - Access

As a former aficionado of the Psion handhelds, I am about to leap into the somewhat familiar (hopefully) world of the Communicator 9500. However, there is one point that is critical for me - the ability to access my Lotus Notes mail on my Lotus Domino mail server.

My shop uses Lotus Domino version 5.12 for all messaging and data storage functions. The Nokia web site states that the 9500 can access Lotus Notes version 6 mail.

Does anyone know whether or not the 9500 can directly access mail on a Lotus Domino 5.12 mail server?

If Lotus Domino provides standard POP3/IMAP4 and SMTP access, then it should work over the cellular network or locally via WiFi/WLAN.

Using it via the browser is also a possibility.

For calendar/contacts sync through a PC with Lotus Notes client you can use the Nokia PC Suite.
