Hi all,

A friend of mine has an NEC 616v and my 6600 won't find it during a bluetooth search, yet his phone finds mine (yes his bluetooth is turned on). Can anyone suggest a solution please? I couldn't find anything during a forum search. Thanks.

Andy.

His phone is probally set to 'hidden' in the bluetooth settings.
Change it to 'Shown to all' or 'Visible' etc

I tried the same the other day - my 6600 with a mate's 616. Couldn't get it to send either.

Apparently, the 616 bluetooth is only compatible with a headset, and not another phone.

Somebody please correct me if this is incorrect, cheers!

The 616 is set to visible.

I also read on another message board, since posting my original message, that the 616 bluetooth is only compatible with a headset.

Thanks for the replies 😊
