use your nokia 7650 as remote control!!!

Sorry for my english and for my question (could be stupid), anyway could be possible to develop an applet or a program that transform the nokia 7650 in a remote control (I'm meaning to control TV, Hi-FI, VHS, Decoder, etc...) more or less like the casio watch of some years ago.
Its structure and shape could be right, the infrared is over the phone.

Please let me now what you think about?

...And someone, if possible, can develop it?

This has been asked before 😉 And the current answer was "No" there isn't any software that can do that just yet.
