Is there any Bluetooth GPS receiver that will work with the 6630? As far as I can see all of them require the phone to support the BT serial profile.
I see that Nokia is offering a GPS device which works with this phone... Does anybody how they connect? Does the Nokia software included with the GPS device add the serial profile to the phone?
TIA

Hmmm, I hadn't noticed this - I already have a BT GPS unit, and if it won't work with the 6630 it's kind of depressing. Why the hell would they leave this out? Maybe for the same reason they fitted a 1.8v RS MMC reader before there were any cards available... Maybe you are right and you need an extra driver to add the Serial Port profile - let's hope so, if I have to buy another BT GPS then the phone will be going back.

Will check mines when I get home from work. if that doesn't work the anyone wants this piece of S**t or else ger a refund cos already pissed off with the fact that the RS-MMC I brought for th nokia 6600 I have doesn't work with the nokia 6630. If the blue tooth GPd doesn't and only the nokia one does then your stuck into buying their shit!!!
i have wayfinder with GPS. Which bluetooth gps module are you talking about ? :con?
I have wayfinder with the Emtac GPS as well. Briefly tried it last night when I got back from work and it seemed to work fine - the GPS unit didn't have a signal at the time, but Wayfinder connected to the GPS and showed the satellite icon without complaining. Maybe they just didn't list the serial port profile on the spec.

Yep, tried it today when I was out in the car and it seems to be working fine with Wayfinder and the Emtac BT GPS. Got a signal on the GPS and it displayed my position on the moving vector map with no problems.
