When my 9210 died I replaced it with an N-Gage. Excellent smart phone, syncs with my Mac, BT keyboard is good - all wonderful.
I used sVCard to export my contacts from the 9210, and then import them to the N-Gage. Worked really well.
So now I finally get a 9500. I know iSync won't support it, but how on earth can I get my contacts across to it?
I have several hundred - sending them one by one via BT is a no-go.
I can export everything from the Mac's Addressbook into a large .vcf file. However, when I send that via BT to the 9500 - it vanishes! I can't find the file anywhere on the phone.
There appears to be no way of sending everything from the N-Gage to the 9500 directly.
The Series 80 version of sVCard is broken on the 9500 - works fine until you load up the .vcf file containing the stuff to be imported. Then you get screen corruption and all you can do is exit the app.
The 9500 doesn't appear to be able to directly import .vcf files - which is bizarre, considering this is supposed to be a business phone.
As it is, I've waited ages for the 9500 to come out, and now I have one I can't use the poxy thing because I can't get my contacts onto it. 😞
As a mobile businessman, I depend on my phone and my contact list. I can't believe the 9500 depends on the incredibly rubbish PC Suite to do anything - and that still doesn't have the ability to import vcf files.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.
TOM

Hi !
I tell you how i did'it with my phones ( 6650->9500).
I saved the contacts from 6650 in .wab format then in PCSuite 6.4( from N9500 CD) with synchronize and at options select another address book ( not Outlook or Outlook Express ).
