similar to the early days problem of the 9200, after using the 9500 for 3-4 weeks, im now experiencing sending failed SMS smessages which eventually goes to outbox, the problem will persist until its rebooted.
in the past i would just go to the system/data files in the c drive and delete the 2 smssegst.dat, and the phone would eventually work more smoothly, i have been doing that with my old 9200 with no problem.
unfortunately, i noted that the smssegst.dat in the system file of the 9500 cant seem to get deleted, despite rebooting it..?? with this limitation, i feel that this 9500 will continue having problem in sending sms in a long run...hope im wrong.
have any of you guys experience this problem, any suggestions??
It's a pain in the backside but have you tried deleting all settings files when you reboot to see if that helps?
was able to solve the problem, did the same thing, i was able to delete the smssegst.dat, finally.

how did u do it! im suffering the same thing! will that also stops the multiple sending of messages?
i gad teh same problem yesterday. i just could not send a sms. it kept saying cannot connect to server or something like that. so just deleted it & then restarted my phone. even after that it did not send, it just kept putting it in the outbox, then i kept the inside on & put the outside network OFF. after about 5mins , i switched it back on & tried sending a sms to teh same person & it went.
i guess it was a network problem.

This happened to me already thrice , i was entertaining network problem but before with other phones , i see the message being in the sent box but multiples of it were received by the recipient. But this time in the 9500 the message is still in the outbox and no indication at all that it has been sent but message is received by recipient each time fails resending. Somehow it cant receive the networks confirmation that the message has been received by the network.
sorry for the late reply, have been very busy lately & never got the chance to check this thread. anyway, the easiest solution is to go to your system files in your file manager c drive and go to the system file and look for the "data" file, once your in the "data" file, look for the "smsegst.dat & smsreast.dat" and delete this, make sure the phone is off,coz this is the only way it can get deleted, after which, reboot your 9500. guarantee to work, much faster to send sms. dont worry the file file will recreate by its own.
