Where to buy online a1000 sim free?

Hi,

Does anyone knows where I can buy this phone on the net (europe)?

I tried to find a shop for it, but only found 3 deals.... I live in Portugal and I cannot find it anywhere... :frown:

Also, does anybody knows the recommended price for the sim free unit?

Thanks,
K.

There are many dealers offering the phone without sim-lock at eBay (worldwide shipping)...price around 300 Pound (450 Euro) here in UK...but they are all Three-branded and are using a modified Three-firmware (but you can use them with every other network, you just have to accept the 3-logo).

Bye,

Alex

Thanks,

But I would rather buy a phone with the proper firmware, instead of using a crippled patched one...

I guess I will have to go for other phone, maybe the 6630, I don't want to wait anymore to get a new phone

Thanks again,
K.

As far as I know, the firmware is not a patched one. Motorola has a contract to deliver the phone only to Hutchison (all Three-networks etc.)...you can consider the firmware as "original"...
