Can anyone give a specification (pixel size - heigth by width) for images to use as wall paper both internally and externally on the 9500?

For the phone side, use the pixels 128x128 and inside use 640x200

I typed too soon! Can change the internal wallpaper but so far all I can do on the cover / telephone side is select the image and preview it but it will not appear ont he phone. what am I doing wrong?

Are you changing the image from the PDA side?

Yes - via control panel - wallpapers

It should save it when you close the wallpaper choser.

Did you press on Done to save the changes?

Have pressed done and when I go back to control panel > wallpapers the file name is present. I can see file if I press preview!

What format should a picture be in for wallpaper on the fornt screen? I still cannot get it to work!

.jpg or .jpeg should work fine. I dont know about .gif

I've found jpg and mbm to work on both screens.

Thanks for this - managed to get it to work as a gif. Interstingly, the inside wallpaper works as a bmp!
