Firmware update Problems PLEASE HELP ME!

I'm getting the usual connection problem that some people have reported here i.e. both ends green, but get the download failed message. This is REALLY frustrating. The web on my phone has packed up so I desperately need an upgrade... ANY upgrade! I've also noticed serveral other glitches which hopefully Sendo have repaired.

I dont want to have to send my phone away over Christmas cos I cant afford to be without it.

Its a Voda contract phone by the way.

Can the firmware files that I've downloaded (30mb!) be loaded onto the SD card and then uploaded to the phone memory to replace the existing operating system. If so can anyone tell me an easy way of doing this?

PLEASE I beg you to help me... the phone really annoys me and is sending my stress levels really high. If you cant help I'll jump off a bridge with the phone and we'll die together and go to Sendo Hell!!!

The reason you can't download a new firware is because Vodafone UK haven't approved a firmware update release. Hence the sales pack number is not listed on the sendo website.
However, you can install the latest s/w for your phone (note that this replaces the original) from http://www.opera.com/

I would like to get my Sendo x phone more like the Nokia 6600 or 7610. I hate the 3 startup menus. They are useless, how do I upload this new firmwork for the x phone
