hi guys!!

help.

i decided to reformat my n-3650 for it displays a hell of a lot of errors..

so i entered the classic reformat combination..
enter lock code. i entered it..

pressed "ok".. but nothing happens..
after i do that.. it returns to the standby screen..
the problem after that, the power button won't work..

i also tried reformatting without the MMC..
still the same..

also tried using the safe mode thingy, but doesn't work as well..

how do i fix that?
thanks!

Actually, I think *#7370# is the "soft" reset; it's the only one I've ever used to clean up my phone. From the website of FExplorer:

*#7780# - Reset to the original settings; some informations are also deleted and need to be re-entered.

*#7370# - Soft format - this will resets all the phone memory (like re-format a disk); make sure to have full battery charged !

That's an odd problem. I have an N3650 and I've never had trouble formatting it. Sounds like your MMC is not the problem, if you've already taken it out. Did you get the code right? (Not to be insulting, but....) When you enter the full thing, it should immediately ask you if you want to format the phone. It sounds like you got that far, if you got asked for a lock code.

If the soft format doesn't work (7370) then maybe try the other one. Does your phone still make calls? That would indicate that the SIM is likely okay.

Maybe a hardware failure... 😞
