I purchased a 512mB MMC card for my ngage & have been having many problems.
I put the card in, and it showed in the tools menu as 503mb. I then formatted the card on the nokia, which took a while but said it was successful. It then asked for a name, which I gave, and it promptly said Corrupt card, over & over, not allowing me to do anything, even turn it off, until I pulled out the card.
I the (after reading posts) formatted the card off of a pc, using DOS, and when I insert the card into the Nokia, it either freezes the phone, or says corrupt card, over & over again.
After trying lots of times, I got it to where I could turn off the phone in between "corrupt card" messages, and sometimes reformat the card. But each time after successfully reformatting the card I get the same results either freeze or corrupt card messages.
Any help would be greatly approeciated.

try use pc to format the mmc using FAT n not fat32. then insert ur mmc into the n-gage n format again. maybe u can try other phones to format. i believe ur mmc have warranty with it
I did format it on a PC using FAT, then in the nokia again. It works fine in the pc, just not on the nokia. (I do nto have any other phones to try it in.
It was a faulty card, I replaced it and it now works (although this card shows only 489 Meg free)
