they've just launched imode here in belgium today, for a flat fee of 6� we get 20mb worth of data ( ex. 18000 sms or 8000 emails) i cant wait to get the p800 now so i can start using imode, i dont really like the nec 21 :-?
has anyone of you had any experience with imode??

i-mode is a japanese technology developped by NTT-Docomo. It is similar to wap, but enables some new nice features.
It will enable you surfing on some specials sites wirtting for that purpose. It uses gprs to exchange data.
Seem quite interesting, but not sure it is really better than wap 2.0
But are you sure p800 will be capable of displaying i-mode pages ?
Apparently it is a very new thing, and very few devices are capable of displaying it for the moment.

unfortunately it is neither html nor wtml, but a proprietary langage...
always connected is depending on you provider, but it the major cases you have a credit of 10 or 20 mb to surf, so it is not unlimited.
Not as cool as it seems imho.
