1GB RS-MMC now available in UK and Europe

MobyMemory are now shipping 1GB RS-MMC cards, a first for the UK and Europe we think. It is compatible with the Nokia 7610, 6260, 6670 (but not the new 1.8v Nokia 6630), and is priced at 119.99. MobyMemory are on the 6630's case and have scouts out searching for the lost city of the 1.8v RS-MMC.

Everyone around me is upgrading to the 6630. I am so jonesing for the phone, but I have a cool 512MB RS-MMC card for my 7610 that I just can't part with. It's not that I can't survive with the card that comes with the 6630, it's just that I love being able to carry all my images and videos with me. Yeah, Lifeblog (my product) helps. But, I like putting my digital camera pics (1-2MB each) back on the phone so I can share them and print them, too.

Ah, the pain. But, I am sure the RVRS-MMC (I think they are called that) are coming soon. Sigh, I'll just have to wait.

Tchau!

Hi guys ,

It's my first post so go easy on me.... :icon14:

I have a 6630 also and have been inquiring about rs mmc cards also...

I turns out that a 64MB card is the max that can be got for this model...

The RS MMC card you get with your 6630 is a "DV RS MMC" card, which is a dual voltage reduced size card....

Bigger memory cards are due out next month...

Also give this place a look, they do free delivery within Ireland & the UK....
