6600 memory full error

2 replies · 7,772 views · Started 16 December 2004

- getting this 'memory full' box come up when starting up a 6600, which is all very fine, but i cannot get in to the phone to delete any messages or anything to free up some memory.
also, to note, behind the 'memory full' box, you can just about make out another box saying 'phone start-up'...

have removed memory card, sim card, battery, but still the same problem occurs.

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

cheers

what phone ya got.i know on the 6600 if u hold down the menu button you get a list of applications runnin just close some down cos these take up memory.i had the same problem usin voice recorder and i did that and it was fine

it's a nokia 6600 - and can't get to any menu items at all, since it is stuck on this 'memory full' error - holding down the cancel, or menu keys doesn't seem to do anything at all...

cheers
