P910i transfer files to Psion Serie 5 using IR?

would it be possible to use my old Psion which it's superb keybord and write a text on it and then when it is finished transfer it via IR Remote to P910i and thus spare the battery on 910 cause a Psion use cheap rechargeables AA or R6 ceels while my P910 use an expensive Li-Poly Battery that don't last long compared to weeks for the Psion.

I am a total noob around computers so I hope but have no clue on if it works.

So maybe you reading this has tried it. give short tip on how to set it up.

I don't know if the EPOC to Symbian file types will be compatable - one would think so given Symbian's heritage - But you will likely have to install plBeam on your 5 to bring the IR drivers up to standard.

I think plBeam is available from PsiLoc.

I don't have my P910 yet, but am hoping to be able to use it in conjunction with my 5 as you suggest.
