[92x0] SKI Flying

Don't think removing a recorder file will do the trick because Ski flying needs more ram not mmc space.
And I really don't see how anyone can really find ski flying so cool ... It needs to much memory, it's to slow and the graphics suck. They have a cool background but the action is a stick puppet. Oh well in those early days it was the best thing available.

I got my hands on it, I have to live with it.

Q:How do I land better? And how to do a telemark landing?
A: Try to land paraller to ground and tap down twice earlier. Do fast taps for normal landing and slow taps for telemark landing. You'll make it! We want to point out that landing must be done early by tapping two times down. Hope you'll make it. First time is hard but it's a game that requires skill and more you play the better you get.

Q:I once got memory error?
A: Make sure you got at least OS version 3.54 on your communicator by typing *#0000# on phone.

Q:I have OS 3.54 or higher but still I sometimes get memory error?
A: You maybe have some other programs running. It's better to run only on at the the time because big images on SKIFLYING reserve memory. Or other programs don't release memory. Try closing all programs or reboot.

Q:Why does it take a while to load hills?
A: Backgrounds are really big images and they are loaded one image at a time to save memory. Just wait few seconds.

Q:I have removed SKIFLYING from my 9210 and reinstalled but it dont work at all?
A: We have reported one case when record file was corrupted.
Use you data suite and remove d:\system\apps\skijump\records.rll file.

Also their upgrade from 1.01 to 1.05 does not work.

If I'm playing Skijumping, I reboot my 9210 and close everything except Extras and then I start Skijump and once it is started I kill as well Extra, then you have enough memory (I assume you either have TaskManager, Switcher or Appman installed on your 9210)

I was able to play it with desk and tel open. Just kill all tasks with a switcher app.
you can even unload your switcher app and start the game from extra
repress extra and press ctrl-shift-chr-k.

then you'll have max memory available.

Don't know about the version upgrade. I could suggest first uninstalling the previous version, but then with some bad luck, none of the versions will work :s
