I am chosing from these two phones and not sure if I want to pay more for N6600 if N3660 has pretty much the same functionality. So here's the deal - N6600 has Symbian 7.0v and JAVA MIDP 2.0, while N3660 has Symbian 6.1s and JAVA 1.0(?1.2.1?). What kind of difference does it really make? I don't care for smarta**es, who are only able to write "newer version is cooler just because it's newer". I want to know - how these different software versions affect using the phone? Does it make phone work faster, or more stable, or has less bugs? What's the difference?
I actually like N6600 more, because of more memory, presence of wallet (which N3660 doesn't have, or at least manual doesn't mention it), even design. But none of my local GSM providers doesn't seem to support TCP/IP which might prevent me from using WAP with GPRS on N6600.
One more thing regarding wallet - if N3660 doesn't have it, maybe there is some third-party software? I'd prefer not to spend a fortune on software, but I also seek for quality.

(1) 6600 DEFINITELY looks better than 3660.
(2) Themes!!!!!! 3660 doesnt support themes 😞
(3) Some people say the camera is a bit sharper at the edges in the 6600 compared to 3660
(4) 6600 has more RAM than 3660 - means you can (for example) - Surf Opera and at the same time use some other function.
(5) Total Internal Memory of 6600 - 6 MB, but Total Internal Memory of 3660 - 3.7 MB (approx)
(6) You can use Series 60 2.0 version software in 6600 - not possible in 3660 because 3660 runs under Series 60 1.2 version.
If you dont have any financial problems, I'd say go for the 6600.

Anyway, jau apsisprendziau del N3660, nes Omnis oficialiai patvirtino, kad su N6600 negalima browsinti wap per GPRS.
