I quickly grew tired of the extremely poor documentation on the UIQ 7.0 SDK and the way it was all meant to be worked in. Why did they have to complicate it so much?
I am wondering. Is there an easier way to convert a compiled java .class (or .jar if that is better somehow) to something that can be run on Symbian? AIF Builder was total shit since it gave me errors in something called "cpp" (everything was set up as the documentation specified, though poorly).
Are you referring to Personal Java or MIDP Java? The installation procedures are quite different between the two. Have you developed your own application, or are you trying to install a third-party application?

I guess it is Personal Java.
Hmm, jCompile is for the phone only, which is not really that user-friendly. I would like to be able to build it on a PC and then simply transfer the .APP file (and any other files created after compilation) to the phone to be used directly. Having to write the app using the pen (I have a Motorola A920) will be extremely slow...
