Vodafone 6630 user problems

Hi,

Just got my 6630 last week from Vodafone. Was very happy with it as I've gone from a 7650 to 6600 and now to 6630 so am used to the functions and symbian software.

I've had some problems already though!

How are you meant to swap the MMC?
I've swapped it about with the card from my 6600 and both cards worked.
Today though for some reason I can't access any data on the MMC in my 6630, but can access it on the 6600???
The 6630 say 15mb of the 32mb card has been used, but I can't access any images. Phone tells me there are none?

Sometimes it says no memory card inserted although I know there is???

Today l also had the problem where the phone froze/crashed while I was looking through my contacts.
I turned it off then back on and got the error message "Unable to start application. Contact the vendor" Or something very similar. Can't remember now.
I played around with it, and only got it to work by taking out the sim + mmc card.
It booted fine. The put the cards back in and it was back to normal, but now I've lost access to my MMC card???

Thanks for you help!

The 6630 only supports dual-voltage reduce-size MMC cards (half the size of "regular" MMC's, and support for 1.8V or 3.3V, with the 1.8V needed for the 6630). No full-size regular MMC will ever work, because they're 3.3V which the 6630 can't handle because of that, and the second reason they won't work is that the MMC card slot latch needs to be closed, and it won't, if you stick in a full-size MMC.

Can you tell me why when I go into MENU/ORGANISER/MEMORY my phone is say I have 30mb (not 32mb?) used = 15mb & free = 15mb, but when I try to access any of that 15mb that's been used I can't find the data?

I have 3 MP3's on there + a few pics, games & programmes installed! All have disappeared or are not accessible???
