Higher volume from the 3650...?

Hi.

My N-Gage has a great volume level when using it either up to my ear or via the headset. But my 3650 (vastly preferred phone) has AWFUL volume when held up to my ear. It does have very nice volume w/the headset, but I don't always want to use the headset.

Is there a way (software or hardware) to get the 3650 to have a better volume level? It's rather annoying having to hold the phone real close to my ear and cover the other ear all the time, esp. when the "brick" N-Gage has such loud volume...

Thanks.

Are you using an OEM faceplate or a cheaper after market one? I ask because the OEM ones has a small piece of foam that kind of channel the sound out better. When I had after market faceplate I noticed that my phone got much quieter until I made my own make shift foam piece.

I'm having the same problem with mine. I have an original Nokia cover, the one that came with it. It's really annoying!

What about the 7650? Does anyone here have BOTH 7650 and N-Gage? What's the volume like on 7650 compared to 3650, N-Gage, etc.

Is 7650 overall worth getting (i.e. any features stand out over 3650)?

Thanks.
