I just got my phone like 3 days ago and im already hooked on putting in apps games and vids and music, so i ordered a PQI 256mb MMC card, i believe i read this card should work.
Anyways when i take off my factory MMC card to put it on my reader, i noticed that when i turn the cell on, it stays blank. I think its cuz ive been installing most of my themes and apps onto the external mmc (the memory card) and not the phones memory.
What steps should i take before starting to use my new card? I dont mind starting over since most of my stuff is backed up on my pc.
Any help is appreciated.
just stick the new card in the phone, and use the phone to format the card. thats it. done!
to format the card go into (extras i think) then memory card, then options, then format mem card.
thats all i ever do, and i have had no problems.
Hi I'm facing the same problem as you. I just bought a new 256MB mmc and I wanted to copy the factory mmc to my new mmc. However, my card reader is unable to detect the factory mmc at all. There is no problem with other mmc but just the factory mmc. Is this because of proprietary problem!!!
How do I go about copying all my files from factory mmc to the new 256mmc? Does PC suite backup all my mmc files ? If I insert the new mmc and do a restore using PC suite , does this work ?? Pl advice.
