When i want to access the menu, it takes upto 1 sec until i am in the menu.
it sometimes takes 2 secs until i can access my contact list after pushing the button.
Also, when I watch videos with the highest quality, it is very slow.
Do i have a damaged phone?

Hi, and welcome to the forum.
I had a problem with the phone slowing down as well. What solved the problem for me was to format the memory card. If that doesn't help you might also want to try to format the internal drive (*#7370#), but remember that it will erase all your settings and installed apps etc.
If The phone has only just booted you should wait a moment, its like a computer in the way that it is still loading programs when the background display appears.
If this doesn't help then try installing FExplorer or Psiloc System Tools, from one of these apps you can compress the phone's RAM to give you more physical memory, this should help.
Also having other apps running will cause the phone to lose RAM running those apps, so close them if you don't need them.

when you push the contacts button phone waits for another command like keylock combination.other reason is phone searchs for the sim and own memory for contacts.they cause to open contacts slower.
