Problem sending email

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone else has a similar problem. I have my 9500 setup to search for my Home WiFi, then my Office WiFi, then any WiFi and finally GPRS. I have the roaming setup so that it will ask me before switching connection.

When I try to send an email, if the default connection (Home WiFi) is not available, it will ask me to select another connection. I select GPRS and the sending fails with a message that says something like "Message sending failed. Please check your email settings".

The weird thing is, when the default connection is available (in my case Home WiFi) or when I set the default connection as GPRS, it will send the email without any problem! Something isn't "carrying over" as you switch connections from default.

Any suggestions? Help....!?

Btw, Merry Christmas! 😃

I had a different kind, but somewhat similar problem.

I was at someone's home who had an "open" wifi network. So I made it an access point, set it as default connection (with my home wlan as second option, GPRS as 3rd option). Receiving mail, browsing, all no problem on wifi, but if I wanted to send an e-mail it could not properly connect to the WLAN and switched to GPRS (which worked properly then, but did cost me money...)
